An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated Technical team leader with at least 3 years experience of direct supervision of an IT technical team, to join a leading European organisation within the Energy sector. You will be involved in the development and support of a world class Risk Management System to support the organisations trading activities. This system includes derivatives pricing, core position, P&L and credit risk reporting; advanced portfolio analytics; real time risk reporting and related risk management tools.
Candidates for this role must have a minimum of 4 years experience in the development of large complex trading systems, this will include a strong knowledge of exchange traded and OTC derivatives; `plain vanilla` and `exotic` options. Additionally you will have experience in market data models (price, volatility and interest rates), an understanding of analytical vs numerical methods for derivatives pricing and risk management and an understanding of parametric and monte-carlo based VaR, incorporating complex derivatives.
